2023/24 Fee Increase

After taking into account the survey results and after lots of discussion the Board has decided that in order to continue the positive growth of the Club that it will be necessary to increase each participant’s registration fees for the 2023-2024 travel season. This increase is necessary so that we can provide more quality training opportunities along with needing to cover the cost of basic operation which has continued to increase as well. Please realize that even with this increase, Fifty FC prides itself on still being able to offer our families one of the lowest cost travel soccer programs in the area. This fee will not include the cost of each indoor Afrims fee session, uniform costs, or tournaments that the team participates in. This is not a change from our current policy.

What your registration fee goes to:

  • Practice space rentals
  • Technical trainings
  • Goalkeeper trainings
  • Beestera team trainings
  • Coaching education
  • CDYSL registration fees
  • Field maintenance
  • Light rentals
  • U16 & U18 BHBL Turf Rental
  • Father’s Day Frenzy Tournament expenses
  • Various administrative costs

*Volunteer Fee

$200 per player
This charge is not assessed at time of registration (unless paying by check), but will be an automatic withdrawal in July 2024. Any family volunteering 2 hours per player registered will nullify the fee for that player. There are numerous volunteer opportunities throughout the season (field setup/take down, concessions, fall ball, home tournament, etc.). Club emails will be sent out when help is needed.

Miscellaneous and Extra Fees

  • Uniforms – ordered separately through AFRIMS Colonie
  • Any tournament fees
  • Any indoor league games
  • Any fees for outside or inside trainers – at individual team discretion

These additional costs can run from $150 -$300 depending on the number of indoor sessions and tournaments your team plays.


Skill Development Programs

In addition to your team’s regular practice, Fifty FC offers an optional technical skill development program. These training sessions usually begin in late November and end in April. It consists of an extra training session for players who want to improve their individual foot skills. During this training session, players are grouped by their age and work on improving their ability to play 1v1, shielding, individual moves, small sided training, and various Coerver training methods aimed at improving a player’s touch on the ball. Cost for any of these skill development programs are kept to a minimum.
