Hopefully most of you have completed initial registration in our new Got Sport registration system. It is now time to divide players into teams with coaches. We are asking families to complete an additional registration step to help us divide the club into either RECREATIONAL SOCCER or TRAVEL SOCCER. This will require the following additional (simple) registration step for players.
1. REGISTER FOR A PROGRAM – “REC” or “TRAVEL”
OPTION 1 – RECREATIONAL SOCCER PROGRAM
This program is for players looking to learn the game and strengthen their soccer skills. It can be for both younger players, as well as older players who may be new to the game and want more play time to refine their skills before entering a more competitive environment.
Format: Saturdays at Maalwyck park, Maalwyck Park Road Glenville 12302
Cost: $55
OPTION 2 – TRAVEL SOCCER PROGRAM
The program is a more competitive league and will require occasional travel to fields located around the Capital District and beyond. In addition to games, there are practices as well.
Format: Competitive games with other soccer clubs. Details have yet to be determined. Practice Schedules will be coach dependent, but are typically 1 to 2 nights per week. Primary location for outdoor practices is Maalwck park, Maalwyck Park Road Glenville 12302
Cost: $50 will be collected up front at registration for all playing levels. The remaining balance will be divided into 2 payments to be automatically charged on Nov 19 and Jan 19, if the season proceeds as expected. There is still a lot of uncertainty around what the fall season will look like, therefore we are splitting the payment schedule. By registering, you are agreeing to pay according to the fee structure and schedule below, as long as travel soccer proceeds. Fees below cover outdoor play from now until the end of the Spring season (June 2021). If indoor play proceeds for the 2020/2021 season, indoor fees would be an additional cost, to be determined based on the number of players enrolled in each session.
U8 = $275 ($50 upon registration, $112.50 on Nov 19, 2020, and $112.50 on Jan 19, 2021)
U10 and U12 = $400 ($50 upon registration, $175 on Nov 19, 2020, and $175 on Jan 19, 2021)
U14, U16, and U18 = $425 ($50 upon registration, $187.50 on Nov 19, 2020, and $187.50 on Jan 19, 2021)

2. REGISTRATION TIPS FOR BOTH OPTIONS ABOVE:
If you are already in Got Sport, click the appropriate link above, choose the child you would like in the program and complete the registration.If you are not in Got Sport, the system will require you to create a new account when you click the linkPlease be sure to COMPLETE the registration to the very last step. Keep progressing to the next step by hitting “checkout”, “register”, “complete”, etc. until you have acknowledged all screens. You should receive a confirmation e-mail once you have successfully completed the process.
3. COVID PROCEDURES
You will be required to fill out this daily Covid Screening Form before arriving for a practice or game. Players will also be required to wear masks during check-in, and until the coach approves removal. For the Rec program, the club has decided that one parent can accompany each child at practices. If you have two children playing, both parents can attend but masks must be worn. Please follow social distance guidelines. Travel parents should not stay for practices.
